How to replace the Center Console on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

To get rid of the console, first, you will need to eliminate the front seats of the car and then lift the console compartment. Then withdraw the rear Cup Holder from the Center Console and the console trim plate. I would extract the console screws mounted on the central console removing the same from the car and further follow it up with the removal of the outer portion of the Center Console. Installation place the Center Console back onto the vehicle making sure that console do not loose all the console screws and tighten it to 2n.m (18lb in) on the console screws. Then, reinstall the console trim plate, the rear Cup Holder to the Center Console, and lastly, place the front seats back in the car.
