How to Replace the Rear Seat Cushion Pad and Seat Back Pad on 2002 Chevrolet Malibu?

The first step to replace the rear seat back pad requires removal of the rear seat cushion and the stationary rear seat back. Carpets from the rear seat back require removal after the hog rings retainer has been unclipped from the seat back rear cover. The hog ring retainers should be removed from the seat back frame tabs while starting by removing the cover from the lower edge of the pad before rolling it up and off the upper edge. Add the new seat back cover onto the pad once you have removed it from the seat back cover. Secure the rear seat back covers onto the pad by making sure you fasten the hook and loop retainers with firm hand pressure following the reattachment of the seat back frame tabs to their hog ring retainers. Place back both rear cover carpet and its hog ring retainers onto the carpet surface. Install the stationary rear seat back and the rear seat cushion as the last step.
