How to replace the evaporator core on 2002 Chevrolet Prizm?

Start by removing the hvac module assembly after which you must take out both the Heater Core along with the blower motor cover . Eleven screws must be removed to split the hvac module assembly case into its two parts before obtaining the Evaporator core . Install the new Evaporator core by adding 60 ml (2.0 fl oz) of compressor oil only when replacing the Evaporator. First install the Evaporator core into the hvac module assembly then fasten the top part of the assembly using its 11 screws. Proceed with installing the Heater Core followed by the blower motor cover before setting in place the hvac module assembly.
