In order to substitute the torsion bar, lift and prop the vehicle. Torsion Bar Unloading /Loading Tool: Use this tool to take the stress off the adjustment bolt. Take the adjustment bolt and nut off and de-load the torsion bar. Record the location of the bars, and install the new ones and reset them.
