  A: In order to replace the air bag clock spring, you should first disable the sir system. Remove the air bag clock spring, the Steering Wheel, and lastly, the upper and lower steering column shrouds. Disconnect the radio Steering Wheel set roll c205 at the base of the steering column, and unbolt the wires harness straps at the Steering Wheel column harness. Next pull the retaining ring and pull off the air bag clock spring from the Steering Shaft. To install, install the new air bag clock spring onto the Steering Shaft and retainer ring in place. Route the lower coil wiring harness by the steering column and clip necessary wiring harness straps. Reconnect the radio Steering Wheel controls inline connector c205, then install the upper and lower steering column shrouds, steering wheel, and the air bag clock spring. Finally, enable the sir system.
