2003 Buick Park Avenue Parts Questions & Experts Answers

  • Q: How to Replace a PCV Valve on 2003 Buick Park Avenue?
A: The first step to replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) Valve consists of removing the fuel injector sight shield. Secure the PCV valve access cover before removing its retaining bolts to take away the access cover. The supercharger needs its PCV valve as well as its spring and O-ring to be removed from the supercharger. Prior to installation place the new O-ring together with spring and PCV valve inside the supercharger followed by the access cover. After placing the access cover in position you should install its retaining bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.) torque setting. You should reinsert the fuel injector sight shield as the final step.
