How to Replace a PCV Valve on Buick Park Avenue? Posted by Customer
    A:
The first step to replace the Positive Crankcase Ventilation (PCV) valve requires you to remove the fuel injector sight shield. You will need to hold the PCV valve access cover still before you remove its retaining bolts from the access cover. You must remove the PCV valve together with its spring and O-ring from the supercharger. The new PCV valve along with spring and new O-ring need to be inserted into the supercharger before the access cover can be reinstalled. At the same time you grip down the access cover you need to tighten the retaining bolts to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). Install the fuel injector sight shield as a concluding step.
