    A: The first step to change the positive crankcase ventilation (PCV) valve requires removal of both the fuel injector sight shield and the MAP Sensor. To take off the cover begin by pressing it down with the 16 mm (5/8 inch) socket before turning it counterclockwise a quarter turn. Elease the PCV Valve along with its associated o-ring from the Intake Manifold position. Installation requires placing the new PCV Valve with its o-ring into the Intake Manifold followed by the reinstallation of the access cover and afterward the MAP Sensor and conclusion with the fuel injector sight shield.
