  A: Start servicing the Ignition Control Module by disconnecting all connectors at its icm and recording spark plug wire positions before disconnecting from ignition coils. To conduct Ignition Control Module service, remove the screws holding the coil assemblies to the module before disconnecting the coils from the assembly. After disconnecting the fasteners securing the Ignition Control Module assembly to the engine you can remove the module from its bracket. Reattach the Ignition Control Module to its location bracket then install the ignition coils in their appropriate place. Fasten the Ignition Control Module assembly to the engine with its mounting screws while maintaining a torque of 4.5 n.m (40 lb in). Connect the electrical connectors to the Ignition Control Module after you have placed the Spark Plug Wires back in their original positions.
