Before commencing ckp sensor (24X) replacement work start by turning off ignition power and hoisting the vehicle. Start by removing the crankshaft Harmonic Balancer and make a note of how the sensor harness should be positioned before removing it. Safe removal of the harness retaining clip requires the bolt while users should disconnect the sensor electrical connector. Unscrew the sensor bolts then extract the sensor from its position. Install the 24x Crankshaft Position Sensor by using bolts while following the same harness route that existed during removal. Secure the harness retaining clip with its bolt and apply 10 n.m (89 lb in) standard torque to the bolts . Connect the sensor electrical connector while you replace the balancer on the crankshaft and lower the vehicle then execute the ckp system variation learn procedure.
