The first step for engine Flywheel replacement involves setting aside the automatic transmission then marking down the Flywheel position before extractor tools remove it. Start by removing all bolts securing the Flywheel followed by0241 removal of the Flywheel component. To eliminate the spacer from the Crankshaft rear utilize two m11x1.5 mm bolts threaded into spacer holes while rotating them clockwise. After applying the spacer to the Crankshaft rear position install the Flywheel followed by the bolts so their length must be extended for spacer application existence. Subsequently apply threadlock gm p/n 12345382 (Canadian P/N 10953489) or its equivalent version to the Flywheel bolt threads. Follow the sequence of Flywheel bolt torquing beginning with 20 nm (15 ft. Lbs.), then 50 nm (37 ft. Lbs.) and finishing with 100 nm (74 ft. Lbs.). The automatic transmission requires reinstallation after performing these requirements.
