How to replace the negative battery cable on 2003 Cadillac Seville?

To remove the negative cable of the battery, you are supposed to take away the connections of the battery negative cable and body harness from the battery whereas after the Battery Cable is pulled out of the bottom pan of the body may be removed from the vehicle. When attaching the new battery negative cable on, attach the body end to the Floor Pan, ensuring the cable eyelet is flatted on the body and crimp side facing up, and tighten the bolt till 36 n.m (27 lb ft). Next, you should reconnect the body harness connector and lastly connect the Battery Cable (negative) back to its place. There should another use of replacement cables that abide by the type, diameter, and length of the original cables and route the new cable in the same manner, as that being replaced.
