  A: Replacing the positive Battery Cable begins with removing the battery tray and opening the stud cover of the fuse/relay center while extracting the positive Battery Cable nut on the fuse/relay center stud. Finish by removing the positive Battery Cable lead . The technician must first take away the upper plenum heat shield retainer together with the battery heat shield retainer and heat shield. Begin by removing the right rear spark plug wire followed by the Battery Cable clips and end by taking off the battery cables from the engine wiring harness insulator. Lift the vehicle correctly and support it. Unfasten and separate (3, 4) the Starter Solenoid terminals and its terminal nut before lowering the vehicle to remove the positive Battery Cable. Start installation by installing the positive Battery Cable followed by increasing the vehicle height and placing the engine harness leads (3, 4) accurately over the solenoid before tightening the cable terminal. Fasten the positive Battery Cable nut to 8 n.m (71 lb in), then install battery cables to their respective locations on the engine wiring harness insulator and the Battery Cable clips.
