Next, disconnect the right rear spark plug wire, two Battery Cable clips and the negative Battery Cable ground nut and pull off the negative Battery Cable ground lead and the battery cables from the engine wiring harness insulator. Lift and position the vehicle and then, loosen and pull out the negative battery large bolt and terminal before lowering the vehicle and removing the terminal. For installation, begin by fitting the negative battery, ensure to lift the vehicle again after that ensure the engine harness ground is placed at the negative terminal of the terminal cable before attaching and tightening the terminal and bolt to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Lower the vehicle then connect the battery cables to the engine wiring harness insulator, later connect the negative Battery Cable ground lead and then ground nut tightening it to 8 n.m (71 lb in). Then attach the Battery Cable clips and the right rear spark plug wire with the heat shield bracket ruling either side of the heat shield at two fingers to be slid into the notch in the insulator. Finally, you should install the battery heat shield, the heat shield retainers, and wheelhouse panel and upper plenum, then the battery tray.
