How to service and repair the Brake Light Switch (Cruise Control) on 2003 Chevrolet Impala?

In servicing and repair of the brake switch (Cruise Control), start at the taking back the left instrument panel insulator then disconnecting the cruise release switch electrical connector and take out the cruise release switch from its retainer on the brake pedal bracket. For installation, begin by grounding down the cruise release switch into position on the retainer over the brake pedal bracket, and then rejoining the electrical connector. Adjust the cruise release switch, if necessary and the last thing is to replace the left side instrument panel insulator.
