The replacement of the right engine mount strut begins with removing the bolt and nut from the engine mount strut which attaches to the right engine mount strut bracket on the engine followed by the bolt and nut from the engine mount strut which attaches to the engine mount strut bracket on the upper radiator support and finally removing the engine mount strut. Check for rubber hardness as well as splitting and cracking in the engine mount strut. Reinstall the engine mount strut while implementing these steps: mount it to the upper radiator support engine mount strut bracket then tighten the bolt to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.), afterward mount it to the right engine mount strut bracket on the engine before torquing the strut nut to 48 Nm (35 ft. lbs.).
