First remove the drive belt tensioner element along with its bolt followed by the idler pulley component and its bolt. Begin generator bracket replacement by taking out bolts 1-3 followed by removing both the generator bracket. The generator bracket needs to be installed first followed by generator bracket bolts (1-3) installation according to the sequence (1,2,3) until they achieve 50 n.m of tension (37 lb ft). Install the drive belt tensioner along with its bolt while applying torque to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). Next apply the drive belt idler pulley along with its bolt before torquing them to 50 n.m (37 lb ft). The installation concludes by putting back the generator followed by turning the drive belt tensioner counter to initial position before reconnecting the negative Battery Cable.
