The replacement of upper intermediate steering shaft requires the locking of the steering column and straightening of the front wheels. Lock the column with the Steering Column Lock Pin. Take out the upper intermediate shaft, remove it out of steering column, and de-fit the new shaft, making sure that it fits well. Install and unlock steering column.
