Apply a small amount of lubricant gm p/n 1051344 (Canadian P/N 993037) or an equivalent at the tip of the new clutch actuator cylinder before installation. Fastener notice in service precautions guides the transmitter assembly of the clutch actuator cylinder to its destination on the transmission. Fasten the clutch actuator cylinder to the transmission base by using bolts at 16 nm torque specifications (11.5 ft. Lbs.). Connect the clutch actuator cylinder fluid line to the clutch actuator cylinder followed by installing the clutch actuator cylinder hose bolt. Tighten the line bolts to 23 nm (17 ft. Lbs.). Complete the hydraulic clutch system bleeding.
