Turn off the lamp switch before starting the replacement since halogen bulbs hold gas under pressure so allow the bulb to cool properly when handling it. Handle the bulb through the base point only while keeping your eyes protected and maintaining both the bulb glass and its surface area clean and dry. The headlamp bulb electrical connector needs to be disconnected followed by removal of the rubber insulator from the lamp assembly.
