  A: The replacement process starts by removing the A/C line bracket nut while detaching the A/C line bracket from the oil level indicator tube stud. The first step requires disconnecting the 02 sensor electrical connector that connects to the oil level indicator bracket followed by removing the tube stud. Remove the indicator from its light tube while you pull the tube itself from its block position. During installation insert the oil level indicator tube into the engine block while applying GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) sealant to the threads of oil level indicator tube stud. Replace the oil level indicator tube stud by torquing it to 10 Nm (89 inch lbs.). The A/C line bracket needs to return to the oil level indicator tube where you must tighten the nut to 7 Nm (6 inch lbs.). After reconnecting the 02 sensor electrical connector you should install the oil level indicator into its tube.
