How to replace the A/C Compressor Cut-Out Switches with RPO CODE HU6 on 2003 GMC Savana 2500?

Recovery of refrigerant then cleaning the switch area should be performed before withdrawing the snap ring. First detach the electrical connector from the a/c high pressure switch before using the j 5403 snap ring pliers (J 5403) for snap ring removal. Next use j 9553-01 o-ring remover (J 9553-01) to remove the old o-ring seal from the switch cavity after taking out the a/c high pressure switch from the compressor. Examine the switch cavity together with o-ring groove to check for any dirt presence and remove foreign substances as needed. Insert a new o-ring into the switch cavity by placing it into the groove and lubricate it with new 525 viscosity refrigerant oil. The control switch requires lubrication with the same oil before placement into the cavity until the switch reaches the bottom. Fitting the snap ring requires j 5403 snap ring pliers (J 5403) to position the high part of the curved sides next to the switch housing and the ring inside the retaining groove properly. The vehicle receiving an a/c system evacuation then charging and leak testing with the j 39400-a halogen leak detector (J 39400-A).
