    Q:
How to Replace A/C Compressor Cut-Out Switches for Low Pressure Switch on GMC Savana 2500? Posted by Customer
    A:
Begin the a/c low pressure switch replacement by disconnection of the Coolant Reservoir and removing of the electrical connector attached to the a/c low pressure switch. Work at removing the a/c low pressure switch from its mounting position on the accumulator. The liquid line fitting requires cleaning using a lint-free cloth while a thin layer of mineral base 525 viscosity refrigerant oil should be placed on the new o-ring seal before installation. The oil must avoid entry into the refrigeration system. Apply the new o-ring seal before mounting the a/c low pressure switch to the A/C Accumulator while tightening the fastener to 6 n.m (53 lb in). Complete the installation by reattaching the electrical connection to the a/c low pressure switch followed by Coolant Reservoir refitment.
