How to replace the Power Steering Hose Outlet on 2003 GMC Savana 2500?

The first step in replacing the power steering gear outlet hose is to install a drain pan under the vehicle while siphoning the power steering fluid from the reservoir to prevent leakages. The first removal step requires taking out the power steering outlet hose from the Power Steering Pump and secondly removing the power steering gear outlet hose from the power steering gear. Lastly remove the power steering gear outlet hose from the vehicle. The new hose should follow the original routing pattern before installation while the power steering gear outlet hose gets attached to its location at the power steering gear and tightened up to 33 nm (24 ft. Lbs.). Bleeding of the power steering system occurs after hose installation to the Power Steering Pump before you can remove the drain pan from beneath the vehicle.
