How to replace the engine oil pressure switch on 2003 GMC Savana 3500?

Beginning your work to replace an Engine Oil Pressure Sensor or Switch requires you to start by taking off the engine cover. First disconnect the oil pressure sensor electrical connector then use the Oil Pressure Sensor Socket (J 41712) to remove the oil pressure sensor. Use GM P/N 12346004 (Canadian P/N 10953480) or equivalent sealant on the threaded portion of the new oil pressure sensor. Use the Oil Pressure Sensor Socket (J 41712) or equivalent to install the oil pressure sensor before tightening it to 20 Nm (15 ft. lbs.). Place the engine cover back and reconnect the electrical connector to the oil pressure sensor.
