How to replace the front seat armrest cup holder on 2004 Buick LeSabre?

The two locking tabs at the base of the cup holder assembly require partial opening to be accessible. You can twist the flat bladed screwdriver to release the lock tabs from their base positions. Extract the cup holder assembly out of its position in the storage armrest assembly. The cup holder assembly tabs need to be positioned correctly through the armrest assembly slots before insertion. Press your thumb firmly against the base of the cup holder assembly where the locking tabs are located until they connect properly before checking for correct cup holder assembly functioning.
