  A: In order to save the Wiper Arm, you should first bring the wipers to the park position and take the washer hose off the air inlet grille panel. Take off the cover off the nut that is holding the Wiper Arm and take off Wiper Arm nut. Pull the arm using the Wiper Arm puller (J 39822) off the pivot shaft. Push the end of the Wiper Blade retaining clip down and pull the blade off the Wiper Arm hook, with the Wiper Arm hook coming out through the Wiper Blade opening. For installation, place the arm hook into the opening on the Wiper Blade and push it into the blade retaining clip until it is securely clicked. Make sure the wiper system is in park position, operate the wiper system and place switch of wiper control to off position. Mount the Wiper Arm to the pivot shaft lining-line up the Wiper Blade with the locating marks on the windshield or in the absence of locating marks, mount the center of the blades at the stated distances. 112.1 mm (4.41 in) for the passenger side and 64.4mm (3.57in) for the driver side. Clean the wiper transmission pivot shaft knurls with a wire brush as well as fix the nut on the Wiper Arm pivot shaft and tighten it to 32 n.m (24 lb ft). Finally, put the cover onto the nut and connect the washer hose to the fitting at the air inlet grille panel and lubricate it using windshield washer solvent to make it easier to connect.
