How to Replace a Rack and Pinion Boot for On Vehicle on 2004 Buick Park Avenue?

To replace the Rack and Pinion Boot in the vehicle, one should firstly raise and support the car while the second step should be the replacement of tire and wheel. Then, you will need to take off the outer tie rod and than the hex jam nut from the inner tie rod. Move on to be removing the Tie Rod End clamp from Rack and Pinion Boot and the removal of Rack and Pinion Boot clamp from Rack and Pinion Boot. Finally remove the Rack and Pinion Boot from the steering gear. During installation, insert the new Rack and Pinion Boot on the steering gear, and fix it using new Rack and Pinion Boot clamp. Attach the Tie Rod End clamp to the Rack and Pinion Boot using the j 22610 keystone clamp plier (J222610). Replace the hex jam nut onto the inner tie rod assembly then the outer tie rod and then replace the tire and wheel back. Drop the vehicle and modify the toe alignment to finish up the process.
