The servicing of the power steering return hose begins by removing the power steering gear heat shield along with disconnecting the hose from both power steering components. After supporting the vehicle with a jack remove the power steering return hose retainers which are mounted on the frame before pulling out the hose from its position. You should start the installation by connecting the new power steering return hose both to vehicle components and Power Steering Pump. After implementing the service precautions mentioned in the fastener notice the power steering return hose should be attached to the power steering gear with 30 nm (22 ft. Lbs.) torque. To finish the process install the power steering gear heat shield and lower the vehicle then purge the power steering system before verifying system leaks.
