How to replace the front cross-member for the steering gear on 2004 Buick Rainier?

In order to change the front steering gear crossmember, lift and sustain the vehicle. Take out the engine shield and rear lower control arm bracket mounting bolts. Disassemble the steering gear crossmember and fit the new one, using mounting bolts. Reconnect engine shield and drop the vehicle.
