How to replace the multifunction turn signal switch on 2004 Cadillac DeVille?

Before working on the Turn Signal Switch you must first deactivate the sir system. Take out both Steering Column trim covers and the retaining screws from the Turn Signal Switch. Separate the electrical connections from the Turn Signal Switch before taking out the switch unit. Begin installation by attaching the electrical connectors of the Turn Signal Switch to their correct places and fitting the switch onto the Steering Column. Fasten the retaining screws to 7 nm (62 in. Lbs.) strength. Complete the procedure by putting back the Steering Column trim pieces and turning on the sir system.
