  A: In order to change the cruise control module, remove the cruise control cable, disconnect the electrical connector from cruise control module assembly , as well. Next, extract the nuts and bolt off of cruise control module head and remove the assembly. Then, take out the fasteners holding the bracket to the cruise control module and pull out the module from the mounting bracket. To install, mount the cruise control module onto the mounting bracket and install the fasteners with the mounting bracket secured, tightened to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). Reconnect the cruise control module assembly to the body - 2 nuts and the bolt , tighten to 9 N.m 80 lb in. Join the electrical connector to the cruise control module. It is worth mentioning that the replacement of cruise control cable does not require a mechanical adjustment, as the-module can make the cable adjustment internally. Finally, retune the cruise control cable.
