  A: To replace the cruise control module, remove the cruise control, then unplug the electric that came attached to cruise control module assembly. Next, take off the nuts and bolt from the cruise control module assembly and extract the assembly. Then, take out the fasteners that attach the bracket to the cruise control module and pull the module away from the mounting bracket on. For installation, lay the cruise control module on the mounting bracket and secure it using fasteners, tighten them to 7.5 N.m (66 lb in). After that, connect the cruise control module assembly to the body and fasten it with 2nuts and the bolt, tightening them to 9 N.m (80 lb in). Connect the electrical connector to cruise control module and reconnect the cruise control cable. After replacement, the cruise control cable does not need to be mechanically adjusted because the car's cruise control module' adjusts the cable internally.
