How to replace the rear Ride Height Sensor for the electronic suspension on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

A vehicle lift system allows access to install the rear position sensor for electronic suspension by first removing both the tire then wheel. Separate the upper control arm ball stud connector as well as the ride sensor harness connector from each other. The rear ride sensor retaining nut requires loosening to prepare for removing the sensor device from the vehicle by tapping on the rear ride sensor retaining stud to release the frame connection. To mount the sensor position it inside the vehicle so the captured stud reaches the bottom of the keyhole until the bracket slot accepts the tab fully. Adjust the position of the sensor bracket until it reaches a level position if it is not already aligned correctly. Foolproof the rear ride height sensor retaining nut by applying a torque of 9 Nm which equals 80 inch lbs. Reinstall the tire and wheel after reconnecting the ride sensor link to the ball stud of the upper control arm and the ride sensor harness connector and putting the vehicle back down.
