    Q: How to replace the Rear Ride Height Sensor and Bracket on Cadillac SRX?
    A: The first step to change Ride Height Sensor and Bracket fittings at the rear involves lifting and sustaining the vehicle before tire and wheel removal. Detach the rear ride height sensor link from both the upper control arm ball stud as well as the rear ride height sensor harness connector. The rear ride height sensor retaining nut should be loosened before gently tapping the rear ride height sensor retaining stud so it can detach from the fender. Disconnect the rear ride height sensor that is installed on the vehicle. Place the sensor inside the vehicle while verifying that the captured stud reaches the lowest point of the keyhole. Continuously rotate the sensor along with its bracket until the bracket tab fully engages the slot structure. The sensor bracket needs further rotation until the captured stud lifts a little from its position in the keyhole for achieving sensor level. The rear ride height sensor retaining nut requires tightened to 9 Nm (80 inch lbs.) for installation. Connect the ride height sensor link again to the upper control arm ball stud and also to the ride height sensor harness connector. The vehicle should have its tire and wheel reinstalled afterward to enable lowering.
