The first step involves raising the vehicle before supporting it for replacement of the Electronic Suspension Front Position Sensor. Remove the tire and wheel. Begin by disconnecting the front ride sensor link from its attachment points on the ball stud of the upper control arm and front ride sensor harness connector. You should loosen the front ride sensor retaining nut while gently tapping the front ride sensor retaining stud which will break its connection to the fender. The front ride sensor needs removal from the vehicle. The installation procedure includes mounting the sensor before screwing in the retaining nut of the front ride sensor with a torque of 9 Nm (80 lb in). The front ride sensor link needs to connect between the upper control arm ball stud and the front ride sensor harness connector. Finish the process by lowering the vehicle while installing the tire along with the wheel.
