How to replace the starter motor on 2004 Cadillac SRX?

First, turn off the ignition and decodeally disattach the battery negative cable. Then disconnect the Starter solenoid electrical connector from the Starter, take also the Starter terminal nut and the battery positive cable from the Starter. Then, disconnect the Starter motor bolts and remove the Starter motor. For installation, either install the Starter motor and its mounting bolt and tighten it to 50 n.m (37 lb ft) or do the alternative. Then connect the battery positive cable to the Starter, and fix it by using the Starter terminal nut; secure it tight: 13 n.m (115 lb in). End by installing the electrical connector to the Starter solenoid.
