For installation, ensure that you clean and inspect the Oil Pan for any dents or damages and ensure that it is dry before you start. Change the Oil Pan Gasket in case the sealing ribs are compromised then fix the Oil Pan, replace the bottom pan if damaged. Install the Oil Pan bolts attaching them to the 10 nm (89 inch lbs.). After settling the car, inspect the pan for leaks, top the transmission off to the proper level with dexron®-iii, recheck the fluid level, and inspect the Oil Pan Gasket for any leaks.
