Shift the order by detaching the TXV stud nut first then use it to extract the evaporator tube from the TXV housing. The evaporator tube installation requires disconnecting the tube from its retaining clips which are found on the cowl and fender. After this step complete the removal process with the evaporator tube block fitting nut before removing the tube. Discard the O-ring seal. Begin by putting the replacement O-ring seal first and then install the evaporator tube. After installing the nut on the evaporator tube block fitting you should tighten it to 28 N.m (21 lb ft). The installation of the evaporator tube begins with attaching it to retaining clips on the cowl and fender before proceeding with the evaporator tube connection to the TXV.
