First, take off the electrical connector from the maf/iat sensor, then loosen the 2 screws keeping it in place, and gently pull the sensor out of the air cleaner assembly. As you put in the new maf/iat sensor, handle it with care so it isn't dropped and no solvents or lubricants come into contact with the sensing elements. A little soap solution is helpful when putting in the maf/iat sensor. Put the maf/iat sensor into the air cleaner assembly, use the 2 screws to hold it, tighten to 2.25 n.m (20 lb in), and then attach the electrical connector to the sensor.
