In order to change the rear axle housing cover and gasket, lift the vehicle and cleanse the space surrounding the fill plug. Take off the cover bolts and remove the cover draining the lubricant. Check the presence of metal particles, put sealant on the cover flange and install the new cover using new bolts and leave the sealant to dry before refilling.
