The replacement procedure for the radiator inlet hose (3.8L) begins by draining part of the cooling system while uninstalling the left diagonal brace. The Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) help to shift the hose clamp position away from the radiator before users can pull out the radiator inlet hose from the radiator. The Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185) should be used to reposition the hose clamp from the water outlet housing before taking out the radiator inlet hose from both the water outlet housing and the vehicle. To install the hose first position its marks properly then attach the radiator inlet hose to the water outlet housing followed by a hose clamp application using Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). Position and install the radiator inlet hose to the radiator by using Hose Clamp Pliers (J 38185). The final step includes reinstallation of the left diagonal brace followed by filling the cooling system.
