The first step to replace the front side door outside handle requires users to close the window completely. Start by removing the door trim panel combined with both parts of the water deflector that exist in the door. Free the upper lock rod retainer from its rod position and take out the lock rod from the handle assembly. First release the lock cylinder rod retainer at the lock rod then take out the lock cylinder rod from the handle assembly. Start by taking out the door handle retaining nuts located in pairs before extracting the handle assembly from the door. Thereafter you need to detach the lock cylinder from the handle. Start your installation by attaching the lock cylinder to the handle if present before hanging the handle assembly onto the door. Secure the upper lock rod by attaching it to the handle assembly with an installation of the lock rod retainer. Install the lock cylinder rod against the handle assembly after which the cylinder lock rod retainer requires installation for security.
