• Q: How to replace the negative battery cable on 2004 Chevrolet Tracker?

  A: To remove the negative Battery Cable it has to be disconnected from the negative battery terminal, following battery disconnect procedures. The positive and negative battery cables are treated as a single harness assembly and therefore it is essential to apply the replacement cable having the same type, size, and length as the previous one. Some positive (+) cables might have additional feed lines on them and some negative (-) cables might have extra ground goes on them; consequently, trace the substitute cable in the same way as the old one.
