How to replace the rear side door check link on 2004 Chevrolet Tracker?

You must remove the rear side door water deflector before starting the replacement process of the door check. The rear side door check pin must be unscrewed from its position securing the rear side door check against the door jamb. Disassemble the two bolts and door check from the door as the next step. Secure the rear side door check inside the inner door panel access opening by using the two bolts which should be tightened to 10 Nm (89 lb in). The door check should be installed to the door jamb using the pin followed by reinstallation of the rear side door water deflector.
