Disconnect negative battery cable, remove cooler lines, unplug transmission range switch, take off nut, washer and manual lever. Unstake lock plate, remove nut, plate and bolt to free switch. Install washer and nut, set shaft to neutral, align marks, tighten fasteners, refit lever, reconnect battery, block wheels, verify starter works in park and neutral.
