The next step includes unfastening the rear object sensor bezel from the rear fascia surface. The installation of new rear object sensors should avoid painting previously finished sensors. Apply a coat of paint to the new sensor before checking its thickness with non-ferrous metal suitable paint thickness gauges. The paint layer should not exceed 6 mm.
