Set the actuator with bearing on a shop bench before disassembly to remove the latch bearing pin. Wheel the bearing onto the actuator through pin installation after which the retaining screw fastens the bearing bushing before actuator bolts get tightened to 10 N.m (89 lb in) while the bearing bushing screw requires 2 N.m (18 lb in). Complete the installation by first plugging in the actuator electrical connector then reattaching the rear corner upper garnish molding.
