A replacement procedure for the front side door window motor starts with removing the door trim panel alongside the water deflector. Pull out the wiring harness connector from the motor connector after which you should bend the 3 motor retaining tabs to free the motor from the door module. Proper motor drive gear teeth lubrication should occur while adjusting the glass positioning to match motor pinion teeth alignment with the sector teeth. Press the power window module motor against the 3 window module retaining tabs until it reaches full seat. Reinstall the trim panel after reattaching the wiring harness to the motor connector then restoring the water deflector.

The first step to replace the front door Window Motor requires removal of the front door water deflector. Before proceeding separate the front door Window Motor electrical connector while using your fingers to press the motor retaining tabs towards each other until the motor disengages from its position on the front door system locking module. The front door window needs to be detached from its position in the locking module. The first step for installation involves positioning the front door Window Motor onto the front door locking system module alignment pins followed by pushing the motor until the retaining tabs completely cover its motor ends. Complete the installation by plugging in the front door Window Motor electrical connector followed by reinstallation of the front door water deflector.

You must start the Front Side Door Window Regulator Motor replacement process by removing both the door trim panel and water deflector. The regulator motor connector requires wiring harness connector removal before softening the three motor retaining tabs to free the motor from the door module. Before installation apply lubrication to the teeth of the motor drive gear while adjusting the glass until the pinion teeth match the sector teeth. Press down on the 3 window module retaining tabs to install the power window module motor into its proper position. Reengage the wiring harness connector with the regulator motor connector before reinstalling both water deflector and the trim panel.

Gently flex the 3 motor retaining tabs to release the motor.

Install the screws for the rear window regulator motor and tighten them to 10 N.m (89 lb in).

Remove the rear corner upper garnish molding.

Connect the electrical connector for the front door window regulator motor and reinstall the front door water deflector.

Place it on a shop bench and disassemble by removing the pin from the latch bearing.

Reconnect the electrical connector to the actuator and reinstall the rear corner upper garnish molding.

Remove the screws securing the front door lock module, then take the module out of the door.
