How to replace the rear quarter window motor on 2005 Chevrolet Uplander?

The replacement of the rear quarter window actuator requires starting with the removal of the rear corner upper garnish molding. Remove the rear quarter window actuator by first disconnecting its electrical connector followed by bolt removal. Start by removing the screw which fixes the actuator arm to the window followed by taking out the actuator and then removing it from the vehicle. Secure the actuator assembly within the vehicle before fixing the screw which joins the actuator arm to the window with a proper torque of 2 N.m (18 lb in). Replace the rear quarter window actuator retaining bolts before torquing them up to 10 N.m (89 lb in). To complete the installation process reattach the electrical connector to the rear quarter window actuator before putting back the rear corner upper garnish molding.
